2 Man Best Ball Match Play Format

• 8 two man teams

• 8 week nine hole matches (plus playoffs)

• Top 4 teams go to bracketed playoffs

  • semi finals (9 holes)

  • finals (9 holes)

• 2 Man Best Ball Match Play

  • 1 point for won hole

  • 1/2 point for tied hole

  • 1 point for low net total per team (round)

  • 10 points possible per week

League Rules

• Each week you will have 2 hours to complete your round (including warm up)

• All un-finished holes will be given a double par

• Golfers will play 8 different courses and each team will play the same course

• We will use your average score to determine your handicap (Trackman handicap preferred)

• Subs will be allowed (subs handicap is based on missing players handicap)

• Scorecards must be recorded and turned in at the end of each match

• Tees are only allowed to be used on tee shot

• Pin placement is set to normal

• Putting will be auto fixed (1-putt inside 10 ft./2-putt inside 65 ft./3-putt outside 65 ft.)

• Weather conditions are set to normal (minimal wind and good conditions)

• Should a shot be accidentally played or registered, a mulligan will be allowed.  This is the ONLY time mulligans will be allowed.  Be fair, only use a mulligan when there was a true error made by the system, or an accidental shot was recorded.

• Scoring is match play

• USGA rules of golf apply where applicable

• Golfers must play quickly, only 1 practice swing before hitting

• Pay attention and know when it's your turn to hit

• Max score is double par
